| Product Features | This stunning handmade sterling bracelet features intricate floral designs and bezel set beautiful green stones. Even the links between the stones are decorated. The spring ring clasp is marked 1/20 12kt GF (gold filled). Hobe was started in the 1920’s and was in business until 1995. The company made sterling jewelry during 1941 to 1947, so this piece dates from that time period. During this period, because of the war, metal was unavailable for use in jewelry, so many manufacturers used sterling. Also, rhinestones, which had been imported from Europe, were hard to get so many companies used semi-precious stones. The light and dark green stones in this bracelet test as quartz. The bracelet is in amazing vintage condition considering its age. It has a beautiful patina, but can be shined up if you prefer brighter sterling.The stones are intact and bright, there are a few nicks and scratches. The clasp works well. The bracelet measures 7 1/2”.A beautiful and classic design that works as well today as it did then. | ||
