| Product Features | Japanese Bookスリップウェア英国から日本へ受け継がれた民藝のうつわその意匠と現代に伝わる制作技法2016年発売コンディション: 新品同様の綺麗さです。“「スリップウェア」とは、ヨーロッパをはじめ世界各地で作られていた泥状の化粧土(スリップ)で装飾した陶器全般のこと。なかでもイギリスのスリップウェアは、17世紀から作られはじめ、18~19世紀には日用雑器として独自の発展を遂げます。化粧土でさまざまな文様を描き、ガレナ釉とよばれる鉛釉をかけて低下度で焼きあげた、おおらかで味わい深いスリップウェア。その美しさは、民藝運動の創始者である柳宗悦やバーナード・リーチ、濱田庄司、河井寛次郎らにも大きな感銘を与えました。2003年に「英国の古陶・スリップウェアの美」展が大阪日本民芸館を皮切りに日本民藝館等を巡回したのをきっかけに、スリップウェアへの注目、認知が年々高まっており、昨今の民藝ブーム、手仕事ブームもあいまって若手の陶芸作家でもスリップウェアを作る人が増えています。本書は、全国の民藝館、美術館、個人蔵を含め、貴重なスリップウェアの古作を約150点を収録。また、バーナード・リーチ、濱田庄司、河井寛次郎、武内晴二郎、舩木道忠・研兒親子等のスリップウェア作品も掲載。さらに、現在行われている制作技法を写真と解説で丁寧に紹介し、スリップウェアのゆかりの地としてイギリスのリーチの工房や島根の湯町窯なども訪ねています。美しいビジュアルと丁寧な解説で、スリップウェアに特化した一般書籍としては初の書籍として、資料価値の高い保存版的な一冊に仕上がっています。”Product InformationCategoryBooks > Other Books ConditionLike new | ||
