Skilled artisans carefully knit each piece one by one, taking their time. By using this hand-operated method, curves are achieved by decreasing and increasing the number of stitches. The neck area, in particular, has a decrease that was said to be difficult for the artisans. The bag part (the part where the collar is folded) is knitted with adjusted gauge to prevent excessive bulkiness. Furthermore, it is hand-sewn without machine stitching, reproducing the techniques of vintage knitwear that cannot be found elsewhere.The brand logo SAN is knitted on the chest. In the case of a roughly knitted sweater, the shape is difficult to maintain, and the edges of the pattern tend to become uneven. However, as with the previous model, the letters are knitted using a mold, and the lines are expressed by shrinking the fabric, achieving beautiful edges.The yarn uses British Shetland wool (100% WOOL).
