| Product Features | Details:The timeless simple design of this made-in-Italy sofa belies comfort and practicality. The covering is a technical fabric that is stain-resistant and UV-treated. Spills or stains can be simply wiped off using a damp cloth or sponge. Comfort is assured with its high-density foam and polyester padding. Additional support from the webbing underneath ensures a non-sagging feeling common with sofa beds. An easy open and close mechanism converts the sofa into a sofa bed without much effort. There is no need to remove the seat or back cushions as it folds unto itself during the conversions. All-night comfortable sleeping is assured with the kiln-dried independent left and right mattress base. Convenient storage for pillows, sheets, and blankets makes it a fluid process without having to worry about storage of these in a separate area. The mattress cover is removable and washable to ensure its sanitary upkeep. Two matching pillows are included to complement the ensemble. The wet-wipe clean technical fabric is made of polyester and incorporates a treatment that allows stains to simply be wiped off using a wet rag. The fabric is also woven in a way that it resists scratches. This is ideal not only for families with young children but for pet lovers as well. The design of this sofabed incorporates thoughtfulness from its easy open-close mechanism, and its supportive birch slat mattress base to its mattress which is a piece of solid 5” polyurethane foam. No springs, squeaks, or lumps. The mattress is covered in a removable and washable cover, fresh and ready for the next guest. Timeless in design, this model which is handcrafted in Italy by artisans who have honed their craft over many generations, will provide many years of comfort and enjoyment.
