| Product Features | For your consideration is this beautiful Ball Jug type Pitcher produced by Cambridge Glass Company of Cambridge, Ohio. This piece is the non-optic variant and in the manufacturer's color of Amethyst (purple). Found on the Cambridge Glass Museum's website is a catalog from 1935 listing the item's availability under part number 3400/38 (image provided in photos). It features a clear crystal handle, and a chevron design on four sides extending up from the flat base. The piece does glow a greenish-yellow hue when held against a 395nm UV light, but not 365nm UV light. According to the museum's website, the glass contains sand, soda, feldspar, lime, nitrate, red lead, borax, manganese, and arsenic. The pitcher holds 80 fluid ounces of liquid. Such a beautiful piece of Art Deco colored glass to add to your collection. Condition: Please note, there are two chips on the underside of the spout.
