Designed in 2015, Assam of India starts with the aromatic scent of sandalwood to provide a deep, rich base, and then mingles with Assam black tea for a woody touch. These notes intertwine with the citrus scent of fresh lemon for a light enhancement creating a complex, full-bodied aroma that you can wear day or night. Assam Of India Perfume by Berdoues, Launched in 2015, Assam of India from Berdoues features a simple composition of notes that is nonetheless effectively robust. It opens with the zesty sensation of lemon, which leads into a heart of Indian tea. The base is comprised of sandalwood. This is a unisex fragrance appropriate for women and men alike. Parfums Berdoues, the brand behind Assam of India, was founded in 1902. Over the course of a century, the brand has remained within the same family, and during the time, the company has found new and exciting ways to innovate the perfume manufacturing process. One aspect that sets this brand house apart from others is the fact it employs its own perfumers in-house. Jennifer Riley is the nose behind this particular perfume. Riley was born in New Zealand, and when she was 18 years old, she discovered her passion for perfumery. She was most heavily influenced by fruity and floral accords growing up.
